What is the Sedona Method?
The Sedona Method is named after the place in Arizona USA, where Lester Levenson its "inventor" lived. He was a businessman and after a serious heart attack re-thought his life and noticed that his healthiest times in life had been when he didn't rely on other people loving him but when he was happy and loved others. Having discovered this strong link between feelings and well-being he developed a method to release unwanted feelings and encourage better feelings that promote health.
If for example a person feels depressed, they just ignore the feeling and get on with what needs doing, but the feeling is still there trying to "gain attention" and will work its way through the subconscious and eventually bring about physical symptoms. Through the process of Sedona the feeling of being depressed is examined and maybe even welcomed before it is released. There are many different ways of doing this.
This method is very simple – yet very effective and really can be life-changing. I'll soon extend my site with more info about the Sedona Method.
Until then there's a Sedona Method Forum if you'd like to find out more or discuss your experiences.
