Which Remedy is right for you?

It can be generally said, that no more than 6 or 7 remedies should be combined at any one time for maximum efficiency. So there is no need to mix up all 38 essences and try to tackle all harmful emotions at once, as they won’t be effective. If you suffer for example from a cold, there isn’t a Remedy as such as it is just a physical symptom. It is important to have a look at what sort of person you are, e.g. whether you might have worked to much lately (Olive type) or whether your child started school recently and you are worried about them settling or being bullied (Red Chestnut helps for worrying that something happens to a loved one).

It can be difficult to judge exactly how we feel at a particular moment and we have to be very honest with ourselves which is the key of finding the right mix. The good thing about Bach Flowers are that you don’t need to worry if you choose the wrong one, because if it is not needed, it does nothing, but it won’t do any harm.

The flower essences come in concentrated liquid from (preserved in alcohol) and made up as needed in a dropper bottle. The made up solution lasts 2-4 weeks in the fridge and four drops should be taken four times a day until relief is obtained.

Bach Flower Remedies are a great way of helping with daily stress, fear, anxiety etc and once the pattern is changed to a positive one, the treatment can be stopped. As the essences are very mild, they can be used safely by pregnant women and elderly people as well. They also work particularly well on animals and children, as they are much more natural and don’t tend to try and ‘cling on’ to imbalanced behaviour patterns.
